Author Guidelines

Manuscripts submitted to Qitaf Journal should be original, unpublished, and not under consideration elsewhere. Authors are expected to follow these guidelines:

1. Manuscript Format

  • Word or compatible (.docx) format for initial submission; PDF accepted with a Word source on request.
  • A4 page, 1-inch (2.54 cm) margins, 12-point font (Times New Roman / Traditional Arabic for Arabic manuscripts), 1.5 line spacing.
  • Manuscripts should typically be between 5,000 and 8,000 words including references.
  • The first page should contain: title, author(s) full names, affiliations, ORCID iDs (if available), corresponding author email.

2. Abstract and Keywords

  • Abstract of 150–250 words, in both English and Arabic.
  • 4–6 keywords reflecting the main topics of the article.

3. Citation Style

The journal uses APA 7th edition style by default. Other widely accepted styles (Chicago, Harvard) may be considered if applied consistently.

4. Submission

All submissions must be made through the online submission system. Email submissions are not accepted. Authors must register an account before submitting.

5. Peer Review

Manuscripts undergo double-blind peer review by at least two independent reviewers.
