Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or PDF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs and DOIs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
  • Where available, author identifying information has been removed from the file properties and from the body of the manuscript to ensure double-blind peer review.
  • Both English and Arabic abstracts (150–250 words) and 4–6 keywords are included.
  • The corresponding author confirms that all co-authors have been informed of and agree to the submission.

Author Guidelines

Author Guidelines

Manuscripts submitted to Qitaf Journal should be original, unpublished, and not under consideration elsewhere. Authors are expected to follow these guidelines:

  1. Manuscripts should be written in clear, formal academic English or Arabic.
  2. Submissions should follow a recognized citation style (APA 7 is preferred).
  3. An abstract of 150–250 words and 4–6 keywords are required.
  4. Manuscripts must include a title page with author affiliations and ORCID IDs where available.
  5. Tables and figures should be numbered consecutively and cited in the text.
  6. References must be complete, accurate, and consistently formatted.

All submissions are subjected to double-blind peer review by at least two independent reviewers.

Authors who publish with this journal agree to the following terms: 1) Authors retain copyright and grant the journal right of first publication with the work simultaneously licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution License (CC BY 4.0). 2) Authors may enter into separate, additional contractual arrangements for the non-exclusive distribution of the journal's published version of the work. 3) Authors are permitted to post their work online prior to and during the submission process.
